Overview

Kings Island Trips are offered twice a year for elementary, middle school, and high school students. These trips provide a full-day experience at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, including transportation, food, and park admission.

For many students, this is an opportunity to participate in an experience they may not otherwise have access to. The day is structured, supervised, and designed to create space for connection, enjoyment, and positive engagement.

How It Works

• Trips are offered twice each year for elementary, middle school, and high school students
• Transportation is provided to and from Kings Island
• Park admission and meals are included for all participants
• Students attend in supervised groups with staff and volunteers
• The day is structured to ensure safety, organization, and participation
• Students are able to engage in rides, activities, and shared experiences throughout the park

Who It Serves

Kings Island Trips serve students across Hamilton, including those who benefit from access to structured recreational experiences and positive social environments.

Why It Matters

Access to shared experiences plays an important role in social development and connection. For some students, opportunities like this are limited or unavailable.

These trips provide a space where students can engage in a positive environment, build friendships, and experience something outside of their normal routine.

Time spent in these settings helps strengthen relationships and creates moments where students can experience confidence, enjoyment, and a sense of belonging in a safe and structured environment.

Program Impact

Expanding access to experiences that may not otherwise be available to participating students

Strengthening peer relationships and social connection through shared group experiences

Providing exposure to positive environments outside of students’ daily routines

Building trust between students, staff, and volunteers through shared time and interaction

Encouraging continued engagement in other programs through relational connection

Support Kings Island Trips

Kings Island Trips are made possible through the support of volunteers, donors, and community partners who help provide transportation, meals, and admission for students.

Support helps ensure students are able to participate and experience the day fully.
