Recovery Outreach
A weekly outreach providing consistent support, life skills, and community connection to individuals in recovery across Hamilton, Ohio.
Overview
Recovery Outreach is a weekly initiative that extends support to individuals living within structured recovery housing environments across Hamilton.
This outreach is provided within established recovery settings, including DeCoach Recovery Centre locations, where individuals are actively engaged in treatment and recovery programs. While these environments provide clinical care and structure, Recovery Outreach offers consistent relational support, encouragement, and life-based engagement beyond those services.
Each week, outreach teams enter these environments to provide stability, connection, and practical support during a critical season of transition.
How It Works
• Outreach takes place weekly within local recovery housing environments
• Teams provide character development, life lessons, and emotional support
• Both men’s and women’s homes are served through this outreach
• Engagement is consistent, creating familiarity and trust over time
• Individuals are invited to attend Sunday services, with transportation provided
• Participants who attend are welcomed into a broader community environment, including connection and breakfast
• Volunteers and staff lead each outreach with consistency and care
Who It Serves
Recovery Outreach serves individuals currently in residential recovery programs across Hamilton, including those navigating early and transitional stages of recovery who benefit from consistent support and connection.
Why It Matters
Recovery requires more than clinical care. It requires consistent support, stable relationships, and connection to environments that reinforce growth and direction.
While individuals are engaged in structured recovery programs, ongoing relational support plays a critical role in long-term stability. Weekly outreach provides a dependable point of connection where individuals can receive encouragement, build trust, and engage in environments that support continued progress.
Providing opportunities to connect beyond the recovery setting also helps individuals begin to establish relationships and routines that extend into daily life.
